Many everyday consumer products are made from GMO crops developed by Monsanto, the American biochemical giant. Bio à la Une lists some of the brands to avoid so you don't end up putting just anything on your plate .
Monsanto, the biotechnology giant, is infamous for the repeated health scandals in which it is implicated. Less well known is the fact that brands containing Monsanto products are flooding our supermarket shelves.
To better understand what we put on our plates and on our children's plates, it is good to know which multinationals, owners of many brands, use Monsanto components.
These include Kraft Philipp Moris, Unilever, General Mills, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble.

- Capri-Sun and Topricana fruit juices.
- Ocean Spray drinks, Pepsi-Cola sodas, Seven Up, Schweppes or Gatorade energy drinks.
